Grapeseed Vegenaise

"Vegan Mayonnaise"

I was raised with mayo on everything! But once we became vegans, eggs were omitted and I didn't like any of the substitutes that were on the health food shelves. One day I notice Vegenaise in the refrigeration section and decided to give it a try. To my delight, it tasted just like my old favorite and blended into all my recipes with no after taste. Give this a try and grapeseed oil is great for your body. Just remember that this is a fat, so use sparingly if you are watching your weight and your health.


Grapeseed Oil

Grapeseed oil has extraordinary qualities with respect to its effect on cholesterol. Clinical tests have shown grapeseed oil to have a significant effect on lowering serum cholesterol. More importantly, subjects experienced a lowering of LDL (the so called "bad" cholesterol), and an increase in HDL (the "good" cholesterol). Those already familiar with grapeseed oil's powerful family of antioxidants known as proanthocyanidins which are naturally occurring in grapeseed oil are not effected by the processing used to create Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise. The a unique cold process keeps all available nutritional factors intact.

Vegan Toona comes in a CAN just like traditional canned tuna, but the look, smell and taste is nothing like tuna. With that in mind, this product is worth a taste.
A Can of Sophie's Kitchen Vegan Toona, Sea Salt


Ingredients

  • 1 can Sophie’s Kitchen Sea Salt Vegan Toona
  • 2 tablespoons French Cornichons, fine dice
  • 2 tablespoons Vegenaise (Grapeseed)
  • 1/2 cup organic celery, fine dice
  • 1 shallot, fine dice
  • 1 baguette bread, thin sliced rounds or vegan crackers of choice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice

Preparation

Open the Sea Salt Vegan Toona Can

Open the Sophie’s Kitchen Sea Salt Vegetation Can and scrape the contents into a medium-sized bowl.
Use a Fork to Make ALL the VeganToona the Same Size

Use a fork and make sure all the pieces are small and uniform by mashing the bowl’s contents.

Mix

Add French Cornichons, celery, shallot, lemon juice, Vegenaise and combine with the Vegan Toona.

Vegan Crackers or Baguette

Choose your favorite vegan cracker or slices of a baguette and top each one with a spoonful of Sophie’s Kitchen Vegan Toona Salad.

This makes a perfect recipe for Vegan Teatime Sandwiches too.
