The Rice Cube allows even a novice chef to create designer sushi platters and cube shaped desserts. Make sushi in seconds and say goodbye to bamboo mats and sticky rice. CBS Money Watch named the Rice Cube one of the top 5 kitchen trends of 2013. In addition, it won the best new product at the Birmingham Autumn Fair and was a runner up in the Australian Retail Design Awards.
Easily create sophisticated sushi from plain rice with the Rice Cube and cut down on calories by using less sugar and vinegar. By compacting the rice into a cube keeps the sushi square intact.
The Rice Cube’s versatility goes beyond sushi. Savory items that work well in the Rice Cube include: polenta, risotto, potato, and falafel cubes. Flavor these ingredients with spices and sauces that will be absorbed by the main starch.
For desserts use soft cakes, nuts, dried fruits, seeds, chocolate, etc.
The Rice Cube is Australian designed, made from FDA approved food safe materials and is 100% recyclable and dishwasher safe.
