The Corn Zipper
by Kuhn Rikon

The Kuhn Rikon Corn Zipper provides a revolutionary technique for removing rows of corn kernels cleanly and safely off the corn cob. If you have ever slipped with a knife and cut yourself when cutting kernels from a corn cob, you will be very interested in this new kitchen tool.

Hold the Corn Zipper with the end of the handle facing toward yourself.
With the corn cob in the left or right hand, grip the Corn Zipper in the other hand.
Have a plate, pan or cutting board ready to catch the kernels as you ZIP them off.
It is best to begin at the tapered tip of the corn cob and pull the Corn Zipper down the length of the cob to its base.

The TEETH of the Corn Zipper cut between the kernels and the cob and don't bite into the cob.
You will find that whole rows of corn kernels fall off as you zip.
Rinse and dry the Corn Zipper when finished and replace the protective sheath to keep the blade sharp and free from damage.
