Poires au Chocolat with RAW Whipped Cashew Dessert Topping and Cacao Powder
Poires au Chocolat or "Chocolate and Pears"
Succulent fresh pears and decadent chocolate, what could be better? Poires au Chocolat may be assembled well in advance of any holiday or event meal. Pears, chocolate chips, coconut oil, and raw cacao powder makes this “A Pear to Be Remembered!” Add a bit of Sweet Cashew Cream under it and dusted with raw cacao powder and you’ve created a gourmet dessert with little effort! Hands down, this will be a celebrated vegan dessert.
12 small ripe pears
1 12 ounce package vegan chocolate chips
1/3 cup Jarrow Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
I like to place about 3 tablespoons of Whipped Vanilla Cashew Sweet Cream Dessert Topping in the middle of a shallow bowl, set the Poires au Chocolate in the middle of the topping pressing it down, and then dusting the top with raw cacao powder. Ooohs and aaahs
with squeals of glee will fill the dining room! Serve with a dessert fork and knife. (Steak knives that you never use would work well with this dessert.)
